This is my 7th year with Cajon Valley as an Education Specialist and my 8th year teaching. Before making the switch to Cajon Valley, I was an Education Specialist for 1 year and a paraeducator for 3 years with Excelsior Academy. I also worked as a Behavior Interventionist doing ABA in the home setting, as well as worked as a Recreation Therapist Intern and Recreation Leader for Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS), for the City of San Diego Park and Recreation, working with people of all ages with developmental disabilites. I have a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a Master of Science in Special Education. I am trained in all levels of the Barton Reading Intervention Program and currently work with 5th and 6th graders, however, I have taught all grade levels (K-12).
